Sophia Romania Cluj, opened in 2022, is the largest bespoke curtain and sheer shop in the city! With large windows, an extensive display of curtains and sheer, and advisors specializing in the art of window treatments, it's the perfect place to furnish your home, hotel or restaurant. The shop operates under the Sophia brand, which has been a player in the field of interior decoration since 2004.
The Sophia story in Cluj began in 2022 through a partnership with Simona Zubașco, the franchise manager, who previously established a Sophia franchise in Baia Mare. Since its opening year, Sophia Romania Cluj has been ranked number one among the top 30 Sophia franchises in Romania. This accolade reflects the professionalism and dedication of Simona Zubașco and her team to excellence.
“I came up with the idea of opening a franchise in Baia Mare in 2017 while I was helping to decorate my parents’ house.
Although they were not yet at the stage of selecting fabrics, I persuaded them to order curtains and drapes before choosing the furniture. I fell in love with the most beautiful Sophia window display in Cluj, and decided their living room should feature the same fabrics. It was my first encounter with the Sophia concept, which led me to explore further details on their website and Facebook page.
In 2021, we also opened the store in Cluj, and I am proud to represent Sophia in the city where our journey began!”
