"In 2004, I founded the Sophia brand in Iasi, Romania, with a clear vision to introduce a unique concept of bespoke, custom-made products and design services, focusing on luxury curtains and sheers.

The Sophia brand caters not only to individuals seeking to adorn their homes with exquisite curtains and sheers but also extends its bespoke services to hotel and restaurant owners, as well as cultural institutions. Our work spans an extensive portfolio, including collaborations with over 300 hotels and restaurants, 40 theatres and museums and more than 20,000 private homes.

Sophia currently owns a network of 30 franchise stores across Europe and one in Miami, United States. Furthermore, the Sophia brand provides a unique franchising opportunity for those aspiring to start their own business in the field of window treatments. We offer two distinct models: the microfranchise, which allows entrepreneurs to operate without a showroom, using just a customized trolley; and the full franchise, designed for those who wish to open their own curtain and drapery showroom. Each option is tailored to support our franchisees' success and expand our presence in the market.

In 2017, Cristian Georgescu joined us as a business associate and developed a customized ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. This system is now provided to all our franchise partners to ensure more efficient management of resources and processes."
